Capt. Wayne Jack

Founding Director of ActionFlight Wayne is passionate about sharing elite aviation experiences with the public. With experience in tourism and a career ranging from Aerobatics to Airline Captain.
Wayne’s held many exciting roles in the past, including Ski plane pilot, landing tourists on New Zealand’s Tasman Glacier, and flying in and around NZ’s Mount Cook National Park.
Wayne founded Actionflite(NZ) in 1994 pioneering aviation tourism with commercial Aerobatics in New Zealand Wayne has held Civil Aviation post holder positions as Accountable Manager (Chief Pilot and SMS safety Manager) with Actionflite(NZ) A CAANZ Air Operator’s Certificate holder, Actionflite(NZ) enjoyed a 100 safety record and Red Bull brand partnership for 11 years. Wayne made the leap to wide bodied passenger jets in New Zealand, then from Royal Brunei airlines to the UAE flying 777 for Emirates Airline He has gathered a team of exceptional leaders in their individual fields, and developed the new business model for ActionFlight UAE, with a wealth of wisdom earned through ownership of it’s predecessor Actionflite NZ

Pete Lindsay, brings his
wealth of experience and knowledge as high ranking officer in both military and civilian aviation.
His depth of knowledge gained both in the New Zealand Airforce and Emirates Airline, one of the worlds largest airlines, as airline pilot training and pilot recruitment management officer is second to none.
Pete’s knowledge of training, systems and aerobatics make him a perfect match for our UPRT Advanced airline pilot training management also for our tourism operations staff recruitment and training.
Hot Air Balloon Pilots
Kevin Pilgrim
Chief Balloon Pilot
Over the course of 36 years, Kevin has flown hot air balloons, logging over 3000 hours of flight and a 100% safety record.
Kevin has been responsible for flying various commercial brands in advertising contracts for clients including General Motors, Molson Breweries, Shell Oil, Remax Corel, The Canadian Tourism Commission and Heritage Canada, where his role included public and media relations as well as hosting VIPs while maintaining event and flight schedules.
Some special shaped balloons were very large and difficult to navigate, and flying them often in challenging conditions. Over the last 10 years, Kevin has guided and supported the establishment of new passenger ballooning operations in Kenya, Kilimanjaro, gaining extensive experience and knowledge of the region. Kevin has and has also flown in Calgary, Canada, Dubai, Masai Mara Kenya, Ottawa, Ontario and Japan to name a few.
Taking responsibility for various aspects of this highly regulated activity, Kevin has all the experience, knowledge and patience also overall management experience of the ground crew and pilots in his care, plus the essential skills of an excellent guide and host to ensure ActionFlight’s passengers have a fantastic experience.
JP Lemaire
Deputy Chief Balloon Pilot
JP is a French Canadian hot air balloon pilot who first became involved with ballooning in Ottawa, Canada.
What started as a seasonal employment as ground crew quickly turned into a passion Learning from the ground up for two years.
JP obtained his balloon license in 1999 and continued to fly for the company for several years before exploring new ballooning adventures
JP considers himself fortunate to have flown over the Sedona desert in Arizona, the Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya, the ancient Buddhist temples in Bagan and the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania as well as several cities in North America and the remote North Arctic of Canada
The majority of J P’s 2800 flights have been commercial passenger flights on larger sized balloons.
He currently holds Canadian, American, Kenyan, Tanzanian licences as well as a Myanmar validation He has held different positions such as Safety Officer, Maintenance Officer and Chief Pilot.
JP is fully bilingual in French and English He enjoys trying to stay physically fit since his days of playing American football in University He and his wife have three sons to which he tries to convey to them that “anything is possible.”

Clinton Genty-Nott

Chief Executive Officer
Clinton brings 20 plus years of extensive experience as a legal professional.
In his legal career, Clinton has held Directorship positions in multiple companies around the world.
He is highly regarded for his professional standards of integrity and ethics with an extensive and successful track record of developing and delivering management strategy and legal advice, implementing international standards of corporate governance, codes of conduct and ethics, legal risk strategies and policies.
Clinton specializes in business related aspects and holds legal risk and compliance responsibilities within ActionFlight.
Michael (Mac) McCarthy
GCAA Post Holder – Safety Manager
Mac joined the ActionFlight management team after a career with New Zealand’s Dept. of Civil Aviation.
Mac has a passion for both safety and adventure Mac’s early career was in the British Army, where he first found his passion for skydiving.
Mac has participated in formation displays and personally jumped with VIP’s and into British heritage sites for televised events.
Mac brings over 30 years’ experience in the adventure aviation and general aviation industries, including, Private Pilot Helicopter, Commercial Pilot Fixed Wing, Microlight/Gyro Pilot (RAANZ), Private Pilot Balloon and RPAS pilot holding Wings Badge.
Skydiving has been a particular passion with over 7,500 skydives under his belt. Mac is a valuable member of our team with previous management experience of his own Skydive operation and holds nearly all ratings and licences within Sky Diving, from instructing to CAA Hot Air balloon maintenance approval.
