What an amazing way to start the day. From the point of booking to when we were taken back to the hotel, the team at Action Flight were superb. We were collected from the hotel at 4:45am (believe me, it’s worth the early start!) Kasha was really friendly and explained how the trip would go. The team at the launch site were fab and there were hot drinks and cookies. Our pilot JP was so knowledgable about the area; he and Kasha pointed out the Gazelles and Oryx. JP also gave us a history lesson on hot air balloons when we landed, along with a glass of champagne and plenty fruit, pastries and biscuits on offer. Wayne the owner met us when we landed too and was also really friendly. As was our photographer who was in the flight. Aside from the amazing staff, crew and the seamless setup which we experienced, the flight itself was phenomenal. My first ever hot air balloon flight. I didn’t know what to expect but it was so peaceful and calm. The scenery was spectacular and sunrise was stunning. The colours from the desert were amazing. The videos and photos don’t do it justice. Loved every minute – especially the landing.
